It's no surprise that Joyce Martin is so successful in her business - a business of helping others. Service is what defines Joyce's life. It's the common thread in the various roles she has filled as a gospel singer, wife, mother, caretaker, mentor, teacher, and business leader. Joyce's ambition to be a benefactor to all is a strength that comes naturally.
Being a part of TNI gives Joyce a wonderful sense of fulfillment. "The wonderful feeling of encouraging or helping someone is a feeling that has filled my life," she shares. "There's so much fun and satisfaction in having people call and thank you for sharing TAHITIAN NONI® Juice with them and hearing how it has changed their lives."
Joyce believes that success starts on an individual level. "Our measure of success comes from our measure of faith in ourselves. If we have faith in ourselves, others see it, and they will expand on it," she explains. "I feel that to be a good leader you have to be a good follower. I pick up a lot of energy, ideas, and enthusiasm from my team."
Moreover, Joyce admits that consistency is a key ingredient in her business. "I'm always planting seeds, and although they won't sprout and grow at the same time or speed, they will grow if I continue to nourish them." Joyce encourages her team to do something consistent and constructive for their businesses every day. "Treat your business like a business and it will repay you like a business. If you treat this simply like a hobby, it will repay you like a hobby - once in a while."
Having a successful business also requires commitment and the courage to step out of one's comfort zone. "It also takes lots of work. When David was confronted with Goliath, God provided the stone, but He didn't throw it," she laughs. "TNI has provided us with the best products, systems, and opportunity, and it's up to us to use them."
And Joyce, who describes herself as a doer, has always had a strong vision of her mission with TNI - to share! As a result, she has been able to build a legacy for her children and give more to charities. "I believe you have to give to receive, and being a part of TNI has allowed me to give and share more than I ever imagined possible."
